Master of Arts in Education, TESOL Option Obtain your master's degree through an accredited American university by enrolling in this innovative program.This program offers the opportunity to earn a Master of Arts in Education with a concentration in TESOL in as little as 15 months by doing four quarters of study either entirely online or in residence at California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB), or a combination of both. You may also take one or two classes per quarter if you do not have the time to be a full-time student.
The Master of Arts in Education, TESOL Option is offered by the College of Education at California State University, San Bernardino. The College of Education is nationally accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) and regionally accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). The master's program is designed for either practicing or prospective teachers, with both an English-as-a-second-language (ESL) and English-as-a-foreign language focus.

Advanced TESOL Certificate Program The Advanced TESOL Certificate Program can be completed in two, three, or four quarters. The online certificate programs are designed to serve working professionals or full-time students by making the program obtainable, accelerated, and offered in a convenient online format and schedule.
The program is for individuals who have a degree in another field and need TESL certification, or for those who would like a one-quarter introduction to the TESOL field, and who are interested in teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language. This well-balanced program enables participants to gain an understanding of the theoretical background in TESOL and its practical applications.
The certificate program is designed to survey practical applications of TESOL; to enable participants to apply best practices in educational psychology to promote learning English; to teach English skillfully, employing a variety of principle-based methods; to select and develop successful materials in EFL/ESL; to demonstrate understanding of the structure of English; and to relate the importance of the native and target cultures in language learning. Courses can be taken online or on campus and consists of four courses, which are applicable toward the M.A. in Education with a TESOL Option at California State University, San Bernardino.
120-Hour TESOL Certificate Program As an alternative, the 120-Hour TESOL Certificate Program can be completed fully online in one quarter, with 4 units of degree-applicable coursework.
